![]() I am wondering how I can accomplish this. I really don't want them to even know they aren't printing through the same xserve anymore. I don't want my end users to have to do much of anything. In the meantime, I want to seamlessly move all my users off of it, and have them print through a 10.9.2 Mac Mini that I have setup in our server room. They were editing things that Apple even says in the files themselves to NOT directly edit, but use the provided GUI tools. I found out there were multiple people making changes to the underlining OS, almost daily. It has been so heavily modified that the Opendirectory groups are corrupt, and multiple system binaries are failing to load, they even broke $PATH. Long Summary well, I inherited it.from engineering.who have no idea about security or as I have learned.sanity. Tl dr Too many cooks in the kitchen, people did crazy things, box isnt stable. I have done a timemachine backup of this server, and I want to wipe it, then install Mavericks fresh.įor those of you wondering why I do not simple update it.
